Care, stays and learning

Restaurants and cloud kitchens.

Where it usually hurts first

The apps' payout never matches our orders, and nobody can tell us why.

Where we would start: Payout and commission check. Matches every delivery app payout to orders, commissions, ads, discounts and refunds, and raises wrong deductions within the window.

An example, never a client's result

Safe to say yes, in writing.

  1. “I'll pay and nothing will work.”
It has to pass on your old work before it touches today's.
  2. “The price will creep.”
One fixed price, in writing, before any work.
  3. “I'll be locked in.”
Stop any month and keep everything.

Your week, as it runs today.

Restaurants and cloud kitchens earn the gap between the menu price and the cost of food, staff, rent and delivery, so a few points on food cost or commission decide the year. India's food service market was about Rs 5.69 lakh crore in 2024 and employs 85.5 lakh people (NRAI India Food Services Report 2024), and the delivery apps typically take 16 to 30% of each order (Storyboard18, June 2025). The work is buying, prep, waste, staff, delivery ratings, reviews and compliance, every single day.

  1. 01

The delivery apps' payout is lower than the orders, and nobody can say why.

  2. 02

Food cost jumped two points, and the stock count doesn't match the sales.

  3. 03

A three-star rating pushed the kitchen down the app's list.

  4. 04

Two cooks quit before the weekend.

  5. 05

Guests call to book a table while the manager is on the floor.

What it costs.

Our own sum

The apps' payout never matches our orders, and nobody can tell us why.

And the rest of the week

  1. A study, 2025

The delivery apps take a quarter of every order.

Delivery apps typically take 16 to 30% of each order (Storyboard18, June 2025).

  2. Our own sum

Food cost creeps up, and we find out at month end.

Food cost up two points on Rs 10 lakh of monthly sales is Rs 2.4 lakh a year.

  3. A study, 2011

One bad rating, and orders drop for weeks.

A one-star rise in an independent restaurant's Yelp rating was linked to a 5 to 9% rise in revenue in Seattle from 2003 to 2009 (Michael Luca, Harvard Business School, reported by Harvard Magazine, 2011).

  4. No number yet

Cooks and servers leave every few months.

No figure we can stand behind yet, so we print none.

  5. No number yet

Guests call to book while we're busiest.

No figure we can stand behind yet, so we print none.

  6. A study, 2022

Licences and hygiene logs slip until an inspection.

Indian businesses face 69,233 compliances under 1,536 acts and rules, and 26,134 of them carry a jail term (TeamLease RegTech and ORF, 2022).

What we would build

Ten systems for restaurants and cloud kitchens, under the six offers.

We plan the whole company, then build the first three. The usual first build here is marked, and the window beside the cards shows the one you are reading.

Get paidYou did the work. The money shouldn't take 90 days.

Signs it is time.

  • More than a third of revenue comes through delivery apps.
  • Food cost is above target.
  • Ratings are slipping on one or more apps.
  • New outlets or brands are launching.
  • Kitchen staff turn over every few months.

Who decides.

The founder or owner; in a chain or cloud kitchen brand, the chief operating officer or head of operations.

Why this time is different.

AI that was bought and changed nothing.

A tool was bought and nobody owned the job. We take the whole job, test it on your past work, and stay to run it.

What restaurant owners ask first.

Who says yes before anything goes out?

The person who owns that job at your company today. You name them when we write the rules with you. Inside those rules the agent acts at once. Anything outside them waits for one tap from the person named, on their phone, ready to approve or to change.

Do we have to change the software we use?

No. We build around the systems you already run, in accounts in your company's name, and we confirm each one before we start.

What does it cost?

There is no price on this page, because it depends on the work. After the session you get a written proposal with the scope, the test it has to pass, who works on it and one fixed price, before any work.

Where we would start for restaurants and cloud kitchens: Get paid

You did the work. The money shouldn't take 90 days.

The invoice goes out the day the job is done, and it is followed up politely until it is paid or your person takes over.

What changes. The bill goes the day the proof arrives, the follow up happens without you, and no supplier bill is paid unchecked.

What we measure, before and after. Days from work done to invoice, days from invoice to money in and supplier bills paid without a check.

The old way keeps running until the new one has passed on your own work.

What costs your restaurant most? Bring us that.

45 minutes on a video call with our founder and the people who live with the problem. Nothing to sign. You leave knowing what we would build first, and why.
