Care, stays and learning

Diagnostic labs, nursing homes and day care centres.

Where it usually hurts first

Patients call five times to ask if the report is ready.

Where we would start: Report and home collection desk. Books tests and home collections on WhatsApp and calls, tells each patient when the collector is coming, and sends the report link the moment it's signed, so the 'is it ready' calls stop.

Report and home collection desk, with it running

A lab tells each patient when the sample reaches the lab and sends the report the minute the doctor signs it.

An example, never a client's result

Safe to say yes, in writing.

  1. “I'll pay and nothing will work.”
It has to pass on your old work before it touches today's.
  2. “The price will creep.”
One fixed price, in writing, before any work.
  3. “I'll be locked in.”
Stop any month and keep everything.

Your week, as it runs today.

Diagnostic labs earn per test, collected at a centre or from the patient's home, and nursing homes and day care centres earn per bed day, procedure or package, paid by patients, insurers and government schemes. Diagnostics is fragmented: organised chains hold about 20 to 25% of the market across more than 1.3 lakh laboratories, and revenue per test at seven large chains fell from Rs 233 to Rs 187 between FY21 and FY25 (CareEdge Ratings, November 2025). The work is bookings, home collection runs, samples, reports, doctors' referrals, admissions, insurer approvals and bills.

  1. 01

The phone rings all morning with patients asking if their report is ready.

  2. 02

Forty home collections are booked for 7 am, and three collectors are routed by phone.

  3. 03

A patient wasn't fasting when the collector arrived, so the visit is wasted.

  4. 04

A doctor's clinic calls for a report the lab sent on WhatsApp yesterday.

  5. 05

A cashless approval for a day care procedure waits with the insurer while the patient waits in the lobby.

What it costs.

Our own sum

Patients call five times to ask if the report is ready.

And the rest of the week

  1. Our own sum

Home collections run late, and the collector arrives when the patient has already eaten.

10 wasted home visits a day at Rs 300 each in travel and time is about Rs 11 lakh a year.

  2. A study, 2025

Prices per test keep falling, and our costs don't.

Revenue per test at seven large listed diagnostic chains fell from Rs 233 in FY21 to Rs 187 in FY25 (CareEdge Ratings, November 2025).

  3. A study, 2018

Patients book and don't turn up, and the slot is wasted.

A review of 105 studies found about 23% of booked appointments are missed, from 13% in Oceania to 43% in Africa (Dantas and others, Health Policy, 2018).

  4. A study, 2024

Insurers cut or return claims over one missing paper.

Insurers disallowed Rs 15,100 crore, 12.9% of the health claims filed in 2023-24, and repudiated another Rs 10,937 crore (IRDAI annual report, reported December 2024).

  5. A study, 2014

Referring doctors want reports faster, and send patients elsewhere when they wait.

Bain research found that raising customer retention by 5% lifts profits by 25% to 95%, and winning a new customer costs 5 to 25 times as much as keeping one (Harvard Business Review, 2014).

  6. A study, 2025

Staff share reports and patient details on personal phones and free AI tools.

77% of staff who use AI tools paste data into them, and 82% of those pastes come from personal accounts the company can't see (LayerX, October 2025). In India the average data breach cost Rs 22 crore in 2025, and unapproved AI use added about Rs 1.8 crore to it (IBM Cost of a Data Breach, India, 2025).

What we would build

Ten systems for labs and care homes, under the six offers.

We plan the whole company, then build the first three. The usual first build here is marked, and the window beside the cards shows the one you are reading.

Report and home collection desk, the usual first build here. Shown with sample data.

Win customersLeads wait until Monday. The buyer doesn't.

  1. The usual first buildConversations

    Report and home collection desk

Books tests and home collections on WhatsApp and calls, tells each patient when the collector is coming, and sends the report link the moment it's signed, so the 'is it ready' calls stop.

  2. Growth

    Health check packages

Reminds past patients when a yearly health check is due and books the package on WhatsApp, with the revenue each reminder brings back.

Get the work doneEverything comes to you. Most of it shouldn't.

  1. Operations

    Home collection routing

Plans each collector's morning by area and time, tracks every sample from the doorstep to the lab, and records each pickup.

  2. Voice

    Reminders and waitlist

Calls or messages each patient the evening before with the preparation instructions, confirms or rebooks, and offers freed slots to people waiting.

  3. Agents

    Insurer portal agent

Works the insurer and government scheme portals for your billing team, uploading files, checking status and copying replies back, with a person approving each submission.

  4. Apps

    Doctor portal

Referring doctors see their patients' reports and bookings in one place, and every report sent is logged.

Get paidYou did the work. The money shouldn't take 90 days.

  1. Documents

    Claim file check

Checks each claim file against the insurer's list before it goes, chases the missing signature or report, and tracks every query until it's paid.

  2. Intelligence

    Test and centre margin view

Revenue, cost and volume by test, centre and referring doctor every Monday, so you see which tests and centres pay.

Stay in controlYour staff already use AI. Your files go with them.

  1. Models

    Private health AI

Runs on servers you control, so patient records never leave your network and every use is logged.

  2. Trust

    Report vault and access log

Reports and patient details shared only through logged links, never on staff phones, with consent recorded for the data protection rules.

A sample day of field jobs: three vans planned, and an urgent job moved up. Shown with sample data.

The same week, with them running.

The five moments from the top of this page, once the first systems do their part. Flip back to see how it runs today.

An example week. It shows how the work changes, never a measured result from a client.

  1. 01

Patients get the report link on WhatsApp the moment it's signed, and the calls about it stop.

  2. 02

  3. 03

Every patient gets the preparation instructions and a reminder call the evening before.

  4. 04

Referring doctors see their patients' reports in one place, and every send is logged.

  5. 05

Approval requests go with every paper the insurer wants, and queries are answered in minutes.

Signs it is time.

  • The phones ring all day with report and booking questions.
  • Home collections are routed by phone.
  • Claims come back for a missing paper.
  • Revenue per test is falling.
  • They're adding collection centres or a new city.

Who decides.

The founder or chief executive of the lab chain, nursing home or day care centre, with the head of operations; the medical director signs off on anything near care.

Why this time is different.

AI that was bought and changed nothing.

A tool was bought and nobody owned the job. We take the whole job, test it on your past work, and stay to run it.

What lab owners ask first.

Who says yes before anything goes out?

The person who owns that job at your company today. You name them when we write the rules with you. Inside those rules the agent acts at once. Anything outside them waits for one tap from the person named, on their phone, ready to approve or to change.

Do we have to change the software we use?

No. We build around the systems you already run, in accounts in your company's name, and we confirm each one before we start.

What does it cost?

There is no price on this page, because it depends on the work. After the session you get a written proposal with the scope, the test it has to pass, who works on it and one fixed price, before any work.

Where we would start for labs and care homes: Win customers

Leads wait until Monday. The buyer doesn't.

Every enquiry gets an answer and a price while the buyer still wants one, on the channel they wrote in.

What changes. Enquiries get an answer and a price while the buyer still wants one, and you hear a customer is leaving while you can still act.

What we measure, before and after. Time to a first reply and to a priced quote, quotes that got an answer and customers who came back.

The old way keeps running until the new one has passed on your own work.

What costs your lab or care home most? Bring us that.

45 minutes on a video call with our founder and the people who live with the problem. Nothing to sign. You leave knowing what we would build first, and why.
