Construction and architecture.
Tender packs run to hundreds of pages, and the clause that hurts us is on page ninety.
Where we would start: Tender reader. Reads every page of a tender pack and pulls the quantities, dates, penalties and submission rules into one sheet, flagging the clauses that differ from your usual terms.

A contractor gets every clause in a subcontract compared with the matching clause in the main contract.

A study, 2024
Our projects run late and over budget, and we find out too late to fix it.
Of 1,902 central government projects worth Rs 150 crore or more, 764 were running late, by 36 months on average, and 443 were over budget. Together they had overrun by Rs 4.92 lakh crore, about 18% above the original estimates (MoSPI monitoring report, February 2024).
-
A study, 2018
Our engineers lose half the day looking for the latest drawing.
Construction teams spend 35% of their time, over 14 hours a week, hunting for project data, settling disagreements and dealing with rework. Five and a half of those hours go on looking for information (FMI and PlanGrid, August 2018, 600 professionals).
-
A study, 2021
Work gets redone because someone built from the wrong version.
Bad project data may have cost the construction industry worldwide $1.85 trillion in 2020 and caused 14% of all rework (Autodesk and FMI, September 2021, more than 3,900 professionals).

A study, 2024
We wait months to be paid for work that's done.
Delayed payments owed to Indian MSMEs stood at an inflation-adjusted Rs 7.34 lakh crore in March 2024 (GAME, FISME and C2FO, reported in November 2025).

Signs it is time.
- Tenders are read by one estimator in the last week.
- Site updates live in WhatsApp groups that nobody can search.
- Changes are agreed by word of mouth and argued over at the final bill.
- Running bills are paid months late or cut.
- They're bidding for bigger or government projects.
Who decides.
The managing director or promoter of the contracting firm, or the founding partner of a practice, with the head of tenders or projects.
Why this time is different.
AI that was bought and changed nothing.
A tool was bought and nobody owned the job. We take the whole job, test it on your past work, and stay to run it.
What contractors ask first.
Does it read drawings?
It reads the schedules, notes and text on them and finds what you ask for. Engineering judgement, sign off and anything structural stay with your qualified people.
Can it price the bid?
It fills the sheet from your rates and the quantities it found, and shows every sum. Your estimator sets the rates and signs the number. The agent never commits you to a price.
Our sites have poor signal and everything is on WhatsApp.
That's fine. The agent reads what arrives on WhatsApp when it arrives, and the report gets built from it. Nobody on site has to learn a new app.
Who says yes before anything goes out?
The person who owns that job at your company today. You name them when we write the rules with you. Inside those rules the agent acts at once. Anything outside them waits for one tap from the person named, on their phone, ready to approve or to change.
Do we have to change the software we use?
No. We build around the systems you already run, in accounts in your company's name, and we confirm each one before we start.
What does it cost?
There is no price on this page, because it depends on the work. After the session you get a written proposal with the scope, the test it has to pass, who works on it and one fixed price, before any work.
Leads wait until Monday. The buyer doesn't.
Every enquiry gets an answer and a price while the buyer still wants one, on the channel they wrote in.
What changes. Enquiries get an answer and a price while the buyer still wants one, and you hear a customer is leaving while you can still act.
What we measure, before and after. Time to a first reply and to a priced quote, quotes that got an answer and customers who came back.
The old way keeps running until the new one has passed on your own work.
