Jewellers.

Where it usually hurts first

The wedding family visits three jewellers, and we never hear back.

Where we would start: WhatsApp showroom. Customers see new designs, ask for a price breakup at today's rate, hold a piece and book a visit on WhatsApp, with your staff approving every price.

Prices update on every screen and quote from the day's rate.

An example, never a client's result

Safe to say yes, in writing.

  1. “I'll pay and nothing will work.”
It has to pass on your old work before it touches today's.
  2. “The price will creep.”
One fixed price, in writing, before any work.
  3. “I'll be locked in.”
Stop any month and keep everything.

Your week, as it runs today.

Jewellers earn the making charge and margin on top of the metal, about 10 to 14% gross on plain gold and 30 to 35% on diamond studded pieces (Minerva Capital Research, April 2025). Inventory is the business: one jeweller rated by CARE held about 169 days of stock in 2023-24, gold was about 90% of its current assets, and gold metal loans funded most of it. In 2025 Indians bought 24% less jewellery by weight but spent a record $49 billion on it as gold hit new highs (World Gold Council).

  1. 01

Gold moves Rs 2,000 overnight, and every tag in the store is wrong by morning.

  2. 02

A wedding family spends three hours choosing and leaves to compare prices.

  3. 03

A karigar returns a batch, and the weight loss doesn't match the job card.

  4. 04

Old gold comes in for exchange all day, and each piece is tested and valued by hand.

  5. 05

Savings scheme customers ask for their balance on WhatsApp.

What it costs.

A study, 2011

The wedding family visits three jewellers, and we never hear back.

And the rest of the week

  1. A study, 2026

Gold keeps rising, and customers buy lighter pieces or wait.

Indians bought 430.5 tonnes of gold jewellery in 2025, 24% less than in 2024, even as spending hit a record $49 billion (World Gold Council, reported by Business Today, January 2026).

  2. A study, 2025

All our money is sitting in stock.

One jeweller rated by CARE held about 169 days of inventory in 2023-24, up from 163, with gold about 90% of its current assets and gold metal loans its main source of working capital (CARE Ratings, March 2025).

  3. A study, 2025

More than a third of our sales come as old gold exchange, and every piece is tested by hand.

Old gold exchange is about 35% of Tanishq's sales and rose to 38 to 40% in the 2025 festive season (Titan, October 2025).

  4. No number yet

Every piece needs a HUID now, and our records have to match.

No figure we can stand behind yet, so we print none.

  5. A study, 2025

Our gold savings scheme runs on registers and phone calls.

Customer scheme advances at one jeweller rated by CARE reached Rs 2,359 crore in March 2024, money held against stock blocked for those customers (CARE Ratings, March 2025).

What we would build

Ten systems for jewellery, under the six offers.

We plan the whole company, then build the first three. The usual first build here is marked, and the window beside the cards shows the one you are reading.

WhatsApp showroom, the usual first build here. Shown with sample data.

Win customersLeads wait until Monday. The buyer doesn't.

  1. The usual first buildConversations

    WhatsApp showroom

Customers see new designs, ask for a price breakup at today's rate, hold a piece and book a visit on WhatsApp, with your staff approving every price.

  2. Brand

    Catalogue studio

Photos and short videos of every piece on a model, made from a phone and ready for the site and WhatsApp.

  3. Voice

    Store voice line

Answers calls about today's rate, timings and scheme balances in the caller's language, from Hindi and Tamil to Arabic.

  4. Knowledge

    Family memory

Each family's purchases, sizes, occasions and preferences remembered, so the next anniversary or wedding starts with a call from you.

Get the work doneEverything comes to you. Most of it shouldn't.

  1. Apps

    Today's rate everywhere

The day's gold and silver rate pushed to every tag screen, quote and web page the moment you set it.

  2. Operations

    Karigar job tracker

Every job sent to a karigar tracked by weight out and weight in, with the loss checked against your allowance the same day.

  3. Intelligence

    Stock that sells

Shows which designs, weights and price bands sell in each store, flags ageing stock and suggests what to remake or move.

  4. Documents

    HUID register

Every piece's HUID matched to its tag, weight and invoice, with mismatches flagged before sale.

Get paidYou did the work. The money shouldn't take 90 days.

  1. Agents

    Scheme desk

Enrols savings scheme customers, sends reminders and balances, and tells the store when a scheme matures.

An example week. It shows how the work changes, never a measured result from a client.

  1. 01

Prices update on every screen and quote from the day's rate.

  2. 02

The family gets photos, prices and a video of the pieces they liked, and books a second visit.

  3. 03

Every karigar job is tracked by weight out and weight in, and gaps are flagged the same day.

  4. 04

Exchange valuations are recorded with the purity test and photos, and the customer sees the working.

  5. 05

Scheme balances, dues and maturity dates are answered on WhatsApp in seconds.

Signs it is time.

  • Inventory runs above 120 days.
  • Prices on tags are updated by hand.
  • The savings scheme runs from registers.
  • They're planning a new store or city.
  • Customers ask for photos and prices on WhatsApp.

Who decides.

The owner, usually the family member who runs the business, with the store manager or accounts head.

Why this time is different.

AI that was bought and changed nothing.

A tool was bought and nobody owned the job. We take the whole job, test it on your past work, and stay to run it.

What jewellers ask first.

Who says yes before anything goes out?

The person who owns that job at your company today. You name them when we write the rules with you. Inside those rules the agent acts at once. Anything outside them waits for one tap from the person named, on their phone, ready to approve or to change.

Do we have to change the software we use?

No. We build around the systems you already run, in accounts in your company's name, and we confirm each one before we start.

What does it cost?

There is no price on this page, because it depends on the work. After the session you get a written proposal with the scope, the test it has to pass, who works on it and one fixed price, before any work.

Where we would start for jewellery: Win customers

Leads wait until Monday. The buyer doesn't.

Every enquiry gets an answer and a price while the buyer still wants one, on the channel they wrote in.

What changes. Enquiries get an answer and a price while the buyer still wants one, and you hear a customer is leaving while you can still act.

What we measure, before and after. Time to a first reply and to a priced quote, quotes that got an answer and customers who came back.

The old way keeps running until the new one has passed on your own work.

What costs your store most? Bring us that.

45 minutes on a video call with our founder and the people who live with the problem. Nothing to sign. You leave knowing what we would build first, and why.
